Our Story

8Primal was born out of necessity. High quality, locally sourced meat from a family owned ranch in Texas, shipped straight to your doorstep. No gimmicks, no middleman, no bullshit (pun intended). Nate and Co-founder Dominick, his city slicker buddy from the big apple, are no pros when it comes to the butcher shop, but they’re meat eaters (yes they eat their vegetables too) and damn well know a good cut when they taste it! “If ya eat well, ya live well.” They also know how good it feels to give folks a hand up along the way. A hand up, not a hand out. That’s why 8Primal partners with organizations like Merging Vets & Players (MVP).

Nate Boyer

Co-founder

Nate Boyer is a United States Army Green Beret turned football player. After three combat tours in the Special forces to Iraq and Afghanistan, Nate walked on at the University of Texas despite never playing a down of organized football in his life. Boyer later earned a scholarship and started for three years with the Texas Longhorns before becoming the oldest rookie in NFL history at age 34 while playing for the Seattle Seahawks. He believes that anything is possible, you make your luck, and that dreams are meant to be chased.
